A popular thermoplastic with a wide range of end uses. Applications can be found in areas such as transportation, packaging, and construction as well as electrical.

Low Density Primarily used under "normal" operating temperatures. It's qualities include toughness, flexibility and resistance to chemicals. It is also resistant to organic solvents at room temperatures. Not advisable where extreme temperatures are found.
Medium Density A polyethylene material where compressive strength and rigidity aren't "key" factors in application but are required to a greater degree than "Low Density".
High Density A thermoplastic where rigidity and compressive strength are "key characteristics" in the actual application.
